National FFA SAE Grant-- SEE MR. BULLARD FOR DETAILS
The National FFA is once again offering $1000 grants to start or expand member SAE’s. The SAE Grant application deadline is November 15th
FFA is selling T-shirts that have the Blue Jackets Gold Standards theme on them. Shirts are $13. If you want a shirt come get a order form from Mr. Bullard, once a completed form and money is received we will order the shirts as a group. No money = no shirt. Deadline is October 30.
Students wanting to take the career exploration ASVAB need to sign up with Ms. Williams by October 26th. Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors can take this test. Consider taking it if you are unsure of what career path you want to go in. This test can be used as an entrance to the military if you are thinking about joining but does not guarantee entry. The test will be taken on Wednesday November 15th!
Any Junior that would like a paper practice SAT or ACT, please come get one from Ms. Williams.
The freshman class will be selling Creek Stone Kettle Corn during lunch this week. There will be a variety of package sizes and flavors.
Mrs. Christian is looking for volunteers from the freshman class to help with popcorn sales. She also needs volunteers to sell popcorn during parent/teacher conferences. The sign-up sheet is in Mrs. Christian's room.

The Blood Drive is this Wednesday at the American Legion from 2:00 - 7:00. Permission slips are located near Mrs. Cina’s door.
JH Student Council Meeting Tuesday October 24th during homeroom in the multipurpose room. This is an informational meeting so any JH student is welcome to attend.
Three National Honor Society members are needed for blood drive phone calls during homeroom and after school today. Also, we will be taking a picture briefly Tuesday during homeroom.
It’s Red Ribbon Week! We use this week to showcase our dedication to not do drugs and stand up against bullying. Every student should get a ribbon and new Renaissance card first hour. The week’s activities are as follows:
Monday: 9 square in Gym
Tuesday: Lunch time tug of war
Wednesday: Lunch time Hungry hungry hippos
Thursday: Lunch time Mix it up day!
If you filled up your Quarter 1 Renaissance card completely (both sides), please bring it to Ms. Williams to be entered into a drawing! Once you get 5, 7, or 10 stamps on the orange card, let Ms. Williams know!
New Platinum lists are up! Next off campus lunch is Thursday the 26th. If you dont have a parent slip turned into the office, you will not be allowed to go!
